UK travel agency association ABTA has shared a study which indicates that Britons’ holiday budgets continue to grow despite rising living costs.
According to an ABTA study cited by Travel Weekly, from 2022, “city break” trips will increase by around €69 and longer holiday trips will increase by around €270.
These studies indicate that, on average, a British traveler spends around €431 on city break trips and around €771 on longer holiday trips.
Families with children over the age of five spend an average of 504 euros on a “city break” holiday format, while on longer trips, travelers between the ages of 55 and 64 spend around 842 more. Euros.
ABTA Travel Money communications director, Graeme Buck, was quoted by Travel Weekly as saying, “People are spending more when they’re on holiday, and this can’t just be due to inflation”, adding that “over the past two years, prices in the UK have risen.
