Caseb I basic health unit, in Feira de Santana, about 100 kilometers from Salvador, was broken into and robbed in the early hours of Saturday (12). Two computers were taken and vaccination against Covid-19, which will only be done in this post, has been suspended.
As of the publication of this report, the whereabouts of the suspect in the crime had not been identified. There is no evidence of the theft of vaccines, only equipment. A knife, probably used to open doors, was left in place. In addition to the door, one of the windows of the gas station was broken into.

This morning, the site was found to have been searched by site administrators. The cupboards were open and crumbled. In addition to computers, an employee’s bicycle was taken. The vehicle was stored inside the UBS.
Vieira de Santana was to have, this Saturday, only a second dose in Caseb I. With the intrusion, vaccination was suspended. The military police were there and the case should be registered at the city police station.
