Federal MP Eduardo Bolsonaro, a child of the Brazilian president, referred to the women on the Committee on Constitution and Justice (CCJ) as “cunters”, with one MP filing a complaint.
Eduardo Bolsonaro wrote on the social network Twitter: “It seems, but not Cage aux Folles, only people with vaginas in the CCJ are driving crazy because of the facts that Mr. Edir Mauro has said.”
The president’s son followed the message with a video showing Congressman Eder Mauro Cardoso, calling out loudly from the Communists to some members of the opposition to Bolsonaro’s government and accusing parliamentarians of “enforcing sex in schools for children from five and six years old.”
Congressman Joyce Haselman condemned the statements of Eduardo Bolsonaro, which classified the phrase as biased against women and “a violation of parliamentary etiquette in any serious Congress in the world.”
For this reason, he asked the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office to investigate the president’s son, Jair Bolsonaro, through the criminal process and announced that he would file a complaint with the House of Representatives Ethics Board.
Also on Thursday, that legislature filed another lawsuit against Eduardo Bolsonaro, in which he was accused by the opposition of “assaulting democracy” by proposing, during an interview, measures similar to those in place during the military dictatorship (1964-1985).
