Apple recently struck an agreement with BOE to produce the new screens that will be found in the iPhone 14. However, it appears that the company has had to delay the delivery of some of the OLED screens used in the iPhone 13, according to some. sources.
According to the gate electricityProduction of OLED screens for the iPhone 13 has been temporarily suspended since mid-February. The reason for this lies in a change made to the circuits used in the boards that Apple has not been notified of.
Apparently, the circuit change could have been made because the Bank of England was having problems finding some of the semiconductors used in the scheme Apple submitted to the company. As such, it decided to perform a circuit change, but did not notify Apple of this procedure.
Not many details are known about the changes that were made, but sources close to the company say the change should not affect the relationship between the Bank of England and Apple or futures contracts. In addition, although it is a change, it is not believed to have a direct impact on the devices of users using the new display circuit.
So far, the Bank of England and Apple have left no comment on the matter.
