This Saturday, 17, Blumenau recorded 135 new cases of Covid-19. Of these, six patients were identified using the RT-PCR assay, one using a rapid test and 128 using an antigen.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, the municipality has recorded a total of 60,652 confirmed cases and 576 deaths from the disease.
Of this total, 58,929 patients have already been cured and 1,147 patients are being treated in the city: 53 of them are in the intensive care unit (ICU), another 43 are in the ward and 1,068 are in home isolation.

The city of Blumenau has already conducted 219,859 tests for Covid-19, with 635 tests conducted on Saturday alone.
In hospitals, 232 consultations were carried out, and 26 patients had an influenza-like illness. In the fast track (outpatient) 393 consultations were conducted with 253 screening groups.
In the Villa Germanica reference clinic alone, 341 people were assisted in 211 screening groups.

Of the suspected cases, Blumenau has five patients, two in the intensive care unit and three in the dispensary. In terms of confirmed and under analysis, the city has a total of 55 patients in the intensive care unit, 47 from Blumenau (45 confirmed and two under analysis) and eight patients from the area (all confirmed). The occupancy rate of intensive care beds in the city is 83.3%.
The total number of nurses in the hospital is 46 patients, 37 of whom are from Blumenau (34 confirmed, 3 under analysis) and nine people from the area (all confirmed), the occupancy rate of the ward is 26%.
The city highlights the importance of maintaining social isolation in cases where people can stay at home. The government is also strengthening safety measures, which include using a mask whenever you leave the house and cleaning hands frequently with soap and water or alcohol gel.

This Saturday, 1,129 vaccines from the first dose and 1,119 from the second dose were applied. The municipality already has 153,344 vaccinations in the first dose and 58,656 vaccines in the second dose.
The municipality is following the decisions of the National Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign, of the Department of Health (MS) and the deliberations of the state government.
With the arrival of new shipments of immunization agents, the Town Hall will announce through its official channels (website and social networks) the priority groups that can be vaccinated according to the municipal immunization plan. Blumenau has already applied 212,000 vaccines between the first, second and single doses.
