Blumenau, IN Itajai Valley, more than 233 cases of coronavirus were confirmed on Tuesday (13). According to data from the municipal health department, the city has already had 59,998 confirmed cases of Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic.
Among the positive cases, 1361 patients are undergoing treatment, that is, with virus activity. Of those, 1,292 are stable, isolated at home and under monitoring by the municipality.
Three new deaths from the disease were also recorded. This brought the total to a mark of 572. The latest victims were two men, aged 32 and 41, and a 64-year-old woman.
The city also reported that it has conducted 216,594 tests for Covid-19 and that 58,065 people have already passed the isolation period and have not developed new symptoms, so they are considered to have recovered.
Occupation of intensive care units
The occupancy rate of the intensive care units in Blumenau is 74.2%. Out of 66 vacancies, 49 are occupied. There are 41 patients from Blumenau and 8 from the region. The occupancy rate of the dispensary is 26%.
vaccination
The Health Department also updated the number of people vaccinated against the coronavirus in the city. The total is now 145.541. This Tuesday alone (13) 2,879 new people were vaccinated.
