Blizzard hints at a secret cow level in Diablo IV

Players continued to search for the cow level in Diablo IV even after Blizzard’s official statement about the lack of this content in the project, and now the developers have indirectly confirmed that the efforts of fans are unfounded.

Let’s remember that at the end of October (later hundreds of dead cows), the players discovered the three offerings made to the “Bull Gods” and gained access to a small dungeon with 28 cows, the last of which dropped a resistance potion.

In a conversation with the IGN portal at BlizzCon 2023, Diablo IV Assistant Development Director, Joe Pepiura, and Production Director, Tiffany Watt, commented on the situation.

“The poor, innocent cows of the sanctuary”Watt says. “The sanctuary is not a safe place, not even for cows. However, I will say, if you pick up any items in your anti-cow campaign, they are worth keeping.”

Pepora, in turn, stated that she did not know what her colleague was talking about and pretended that she had never heard of any cow levels in Diablo 4. However, almost every response from the developer was accompanied by a smile.

Therefore, with his advice, Watt clearly hinted that there is still a secret cow level in Diablo IV, or at least it will appear in the game with one of the future updates.

Diablo IV was released on June 6 on PC (Battle.net), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series By the end of 2024, the project will receive its first expansion – “The Hate Ship”.
