a Epic Games has announced that Fortnite will receive a new limited-time mode called “Impostors”, which will require 8 agents to discover two secret items while repairs are being made.
The concept appears to be clearly inspired by one of the most successful games of 2020, “Between Us,” and it seems that even the producers at InnerSloth haven’t failed to notice. This is the case of Between Us community manager Victoria Tran, who shared her impressions on Twitter.
“It was really cool to collaborate. It’s sad for the indies,” Tran wrote. “Things like game mechanics, no problem and shouldn’t be closed [a outras produtoras] But at the very least, would the different themes and terminology make things more interesting? “
Tran, in contact with PC Gamer, confirmed that Epic Games had not contacted InnerSloth at all, noting that the small producer received the news at the same time as everyone else. However, Tran adds that the InnerSloth team “works in really great partnerships with other independent producers.”
