Sporting chief Frederico Varandas, Vasco Palmerim, a Sporting fan, and Pedro Ribeiro, a Benfica fan, both from Rádio Comercial, sent two shirts to the club.
“What is light and refreshing in these times when there is so much shouting and hate in football is what arrived this morning. It was a gift from Sporting who plays today against Tottenham. The Sporting chairman has been kind enough to send me shirts here and send me T-shirt with my name on it.
Vasco Palmerim then explained why the Leonine chief sent the shirts: “It is necessary to say that Frederico Varandas is my childhood friend, and yesterday he sent me a letter saying if he had already opened a suitcase in my name and that he had two shirts there. ..one of mine says palmeria 43, highlights my birthday, also Pedro Ribeiro’s shirt has a very nice phrase. »
Pedro Ribeiro then revealed what he wrote on his shirt: “I have the number 3, and he says it’s the place he likes to see my team in… He also wrote: ‘We will never be great without a great competitor.'” A big thank you to the Head of Sporting, this is a great fair game and spirit. Great humor that football and sport lack. Thank you very much. I will keep it and not give it to anyone. Thank you to Head of Sporting and that’s what’s beautiful.”
Pedro Ribeiro also made a post on his personal Instagram, but you can watch the video of the moment in one of the stories on the account of Rádio Comercial on the same social network.
