The American coach, Greg Berhalter, launched, on Wednesday, 26 players who will take them to the Qatar World Cup 2022. The absence of Reggie Cannon, from Boavista, and the regular presence in the squad (28 international matches / one goal), turned out to be one of the most prominent events.

The United States is part of Group B at the World Cup, along with England, Wales and Iran (led by Portuguese Carlos Queiroz).
