The Azores UK Travel Green was added to the list from 4:00 am this Monday.
In this way the archipelago joins Madeira, while Portugal is on the amber list of major land trips.
Moving to the Green List, travelers from Azore to the UK no longer need to be isolated upon arrival, but must be tested before the Covit-19 and another trip to the UK.
The Assyrian government responded with “satisfaction” to the United Kingdom’s decision to “recognize the evolution of the struggle against Govt-19 in the archipelago”, at which time more than 70% of the Assyrian population was fully vaccinated against the disease.
Canada, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania and Switzerland are included in the UK Green List.
On the other hand, travelers coming from the mainland of Portugal on the amber list and already must be fully vaccinated against Covit-19, one must be exempted from isolation before travel and the other after arrival.
Passengers who have not been vaccinated or who have been incompletely vaccinated must undergo two PCR tests within the first eight days of arrival and complete the 10-day isolation period.
