Bandai Namco and FromSoftware announced at the 2022 Game Awards their new action game Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. Launching in 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One and PC (Steam).
The title brings back the Armored Core franchise, now revived and reimagined as an action game after a long 10-year period since its last release.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will deliver an experience that builds on FromSoftware’s expertise in mech games that have been refined over its 25 years of working on the franchise, but now introduces the action elements seen in the developer’s latest games. The new Armored Core will combine these elements to deliver the kind of action that only giant mechanics can provide. The game promises to be something unique among action games with mechanics.
In Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, players will be able to move freely in massive 3D environments with great agility while facing intense vehicular battles. In keeping with FromSoftware’s signature game design, the game will offer challenging and memorable battles along with a rewarding progression system and deep gameplay, all now supported by massive mechanics and boss fights. Players will experience the same sense of satisfaction and accomplishment in overcoming difficult situations and enjoying victory before taking on the next challenge.
