Amazon uses e-bikes for deliveries in the UK, but they’re not regular e-bikes, but tuk-tuks with a design that mimics the company’s delivery vans, with cargo on the back.
The company created a micro-mobility hub with e-bikes and walk-back couriers to serve central London. With this, Amazon promises to make one million deliveries a year.

Thus, Amazon wants to reduce not only traffic but also emissions in the city, especially in the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ). Notably, the company has already delivered 1000 electric vans in the UK.
