Adobe Firefly’s Fill tool allows users to add resources based on text description
Adobe announced at Expo 3 (May 23, 2023) that it is adding artificial intelligence (AI) technology for image production in Photoshop, its flagship editing program. information from Reuters.
The company claims this was the first step in a major effort to add AI technologies to its suite of software aimed at creative professionals.

The company will integrate Adobe Firefly’s generative AI product into Photoshop, which was initially released in beta. It states that the widget will become a “copilot” for graphic design rather than replacing humans.
Firefly launched on March 21, with legal-to-use image data which, according to Adobe, can be used in commercial environments. The platform has been testing the system for about 6 weeks on an independent website, and on the third (May 23) it said it would add features based on it to Photoshop.
The new feature will be called “generative filler” It will allow users to enlarge the original cropped image or add features based on a text description.
