American actress Leslie Jordan, best known for her roles in TV series Will and Grace and American Horror Story, died Monday at the age of 67, in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA.
According to the police authorities, the artist fell ill while driving on Cahuenga Avenue and Rue Romaine, crashing into the side of a building.
“The world is certainly a much darker place today without the love and light of Leslie Jordan. Not only was he an immense talent and a joy to work with, but he also provided an emotional sanctuary for the nation at one of its most difficult times.” A representative of the actor said in a statement emailed to the Associated Press (AP).
“Knowing that he left the world at the height of his professional and personal life is the only solace one can take today,” he added.
Born April 29, 1955, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Leslie Jordan won an Emmy for Best Guest Actor in 2006 for “Will & Grace.”
Recently, he appeared in the comedy series “Call Me Kat” directed by Mayim Bialik (actress who became famous in “The Big Bang Theory”, participated in “The Cool Kids”.
