A man living in the UK is at risk of going blind after getting a tattoo on his eye. Jamaican Anaya PetersonThe 32-year-old, who lives in Belfast, Northern Ireland, took to social media to share her health condition.
In the online publication, the woman revealed the current state of her eyes after getting blue and purple tattoos. “You have developed a vision-threatening eye disease associated with fluid affecting the central part,” the medical report she shared on Instagram describes.
According to the document, Anaya’s eyes are inflamed. If not treated properly, it can lead to glaucoma – an eye disease caused mainly by increased intraocular pressure, which can damage the optic nerve and, as a result, cause impairment or loss of vision. Fluids in the back of a woman’s eyes already make it difficult for her to accurately read or recognize faces.
In Your Tik Tok profile, Anaya said she had a team of professionals with her as she got eye tattoos. According to him, an ophthalmologist suspected that the inflammations on his skin were caused by extensive tattoos – which provoke a general reaction, and also affect the eyes.
After the backlash of the case, Anaya was heavily criticized on the internet. But the Jamaican responds with humor and provocation. In one video, Anaya dances with her daughter and writes: “At least we’re living on taxpayers’ money now.”
