The last concert in Portugal was in 2012, and now, the British band will return to the Portuguese theaters, with two concerts in Coimbra.
The first rumors of the arrival of the alternative rock band, Coldplay, to Portugal, emerged only a few days ago, after the band published a video that contained pictures of several European cities, which is Coimbra.
The song “HumanKind” was released on August 17th and has garnered more than 850,000 views.
In the video, the cities that appear are the ones that are supposed to welcome the band in 2023.
In addition to Coimbra, cities such as Milan (Italy), Manchester (United Kingdom), Barcelona (Spain), Amsterdam (Netherlands) and others also appeared.
The band will perform on 17 and 19 May at Estádio da Cidade, with the organization Everything New, a promoter of cultural events, based in Lisbon and Coimbra City Council, developing SIC.
So far there has been no confirmation. The Coimbra City Council and the promoter both declined to give details. The band also has not made any announcements.
The last concert of the British band took place in Portugal 10 years ago, in 2012, at Estádio do Dragão, in Porto.
