Sporting received and beat CD Póvoa without difficulty, with a score of 113-70, in the 15th round match of the Betclic League, which was held on Saturday afternoon, at João Rocha Pavilion, in Lisbon.
The Lions played a great match, and the investigating part in the first period (33-12) overshadowed Povera’s advantage in the next part (28-24).
With a 16-point advantage in the first half (56-40), Lewis Magalhaes dedicated more accelerator in the second half, with particular emphasis on the highly asymmetric partial (34-9) that ended the third half.
Tanner Umledge (32 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists) was the top player of the meeting, with 83 percent effectiveness on two-point shots and 70 percent success on threes.
