The Sporting Foundation has revealed its association with the second edition of the Joga Pelas Crianças solidarity event. The match is scheduled for September 25 at Estádio do Restelo, where teams made up of former players and public figures will play.
This initiative, through the Portuguese Association Against Cancer, aims to support children with cancer and their families.
The Liga Portugal/Football Foundation ambassadors team is made up of former professional players such as Helton, Quim, Nelson Pereira, Manuel Fernandes, Domingos Paciência, João Pinto, Fernando Meira, Marco Caneira, Nuno Valente, Beto, Jorge Andrade, Chainho, Simão Sabrosa and Nuno Gomes and Alan, Ricardo Rocha, Oceano, Nuno Capucho, and Luís Boa Morte, among other big names.
