The city of Salvador announced Thursday evening (12) that 155 basic units in the Bahian capital will participate in the joint effort to register adolescents aged 12-17 with chronic diseases or physical disabilities included in the national immunization plan, on Friday. Friday (13).
According to the city council, the measure is intended to include these audiences in the municipality’s base for qualification in the Covid-19 vaccination strategy, with the aim of planning the immunization of this group, once the federal government agrees with the Inter-Committee on Management (CIB) the public enables the strategy.
Packing will take place from 8 am to 4 pm. The municipal administration informed that before going to the health center it is important to consult the patient / guardian if the name of the teenager is already on the digital SMS platform through Location. To prevent vaccination fraud, the Town Hall introduced a virtual platform To enable the registration of persons who make up the group residing in the capital of Bahia. Access to the device is limited to a doctor using the same login and password in the restricted area of the website of the Regional Council of Medicine of the State of Bahia (Krempe).
To date, according to the city, about 2.4 thousand young people with comorbidities and disabilities have been registered in the city.
