Swedish authorities were alerted to the occurrence of “several powerful explosions” by 3:44 pm (local time) in the Näsby district, the northern part of the city of Kristianstad in southern Sweden.
On the site you can see a powerful police service and ambulance. According to Swedish media, several people were injured.
So far, DrTwo men and a woman are in serious condition.
When the police arrived at the scene, they found the wounded in several separate places. “We have several units on site working full time on this incident,” police spokesman Richard Lundqvist said.
At least two areas have been isolated, writes Swede Expressen. In one of them is the mall in Gamlegården, which has many shops, where people have been trapped.
The building is completely insulated as is the outside car park.
Kristianstad Central Hospital also closed their entrances and placed guards at the hospital door as a security measure.
