The MotoGP motorcycle race will run over 30 laps at the Sachsenring circuit. The track is 3.7 kilometers long, 10 to the left and three to the right. The longest straight is 700 metres.

The riders were on track this morning, for the usual warm-up, with Fabio Quartararo the fastest. Miguel Oliveira ran smoothly, finishing 16th. Alex Espargaro (Aprilia), who will start from the front row in the race, had a fall.

Miguel Oliveira entered Q2 and finished sixth, so he will start from the second row of the starting grid. But the Portuguese pilot wanted more. “I wasn’t happy with sixth place,” he explained. “I think I could have done a lot better. The goal was the first row of the net, but we were all affected by the yellow flags a couple of sessions ago.”
Center stage went to Johann Zarko who, despite a fall at the end of the session, was within the best time.

Miguel Oliveira appears in Sachsenring with great motivation, after winning 15 days ago in Catalonia. The weekend started off well for the KTM rider, who dominated Friday’s training on the German circuit, ending the day at the top of the schedule.
Oliveira is the seventh in the world, led by the Frenchman Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha).
