The Municipal Health Department of Natal reports that it has suspended care in Covid-19 centers on Thursday (3), the Corpus Christi holiday, until next Sunday (6).
The three centers are conducting consultations and testing for people suspected of having Covid-19 in the capital.
“People who show mild symptoms of respiratory syndrome such as headache, cough, runny nose and fatigue should stay in isolation and look for a center on Monday,” the secretariat said in a statement.
According to the city council, the most severe cases, with shortness of breath, should seek emergency care units (UPAs).
The Covid-19 centers in Natal are located in Cemure, in the Western Region; At NĂ©lio Dias Gym, in the Northern District; And at the Sports Palace, on the east side of the capital.
Since the beginning of this week, the service is served from 8 am to 2 pm. Since the beginning of May, the city has struggled to close medical tables with three specialists, per shift, at each center.
This happened after a portion of the doctors who had worked in the premises since last year, hired through a co-op, stopped attending. According to the RN Physicians’ Association, the reason was a decrease in the value of the working hour.
