The State Department of Health (SES), on Thursday (3), distributed 104,390 doses of the AstraZeneca/Fiocruz vaccine against Covid-19. Immunization devices, along with other audiences, are aiming to begin immunizing 15,530 education workers across the state.
Vaccines refer to the 22nd distribution schedule and were received Wednesday afternoon (2). All 223 municipalities will be given a proportional population ratio.
The immunization agent will ensure the first dose for workers in basic education and also for 86,040 people with comorbidities or permanent disabilities and 90 air transport workers. The Quilombola population of 11 municipalities, which was not previously included in the National Immunization Scheme (PNI), was also included in this vaccination agenda, adding another 2730 doses.
According to the Minister of State for Health, Geraldo Medeiros, it is expected that on Friday (4), 10,530 doses of the Pfizer / Komernati vaccine will be made available.

In Paraíba, vaccination against COVID-19 began on January 19, 2021 and 1299,770 doses have already been applied. The state has 436,416 people who received both doses and 863,354 people who received the first.
