The closure of the health extensions in Sever de Voga prompted a request for clarification from the CDS at the Assembly of the Republic.
In a request sent to the custodianship, Representatives Joao Binho de Almeida and Anna Rita Pesa ask whether the Silva Escora and Rocas de Foga units are “suspended or closed”.
The CDS wants to know if it complies with the fact that the Doctor who was placed in Silva Escura will remain, by order of the Health Centers Assembly (ACeS) in Baixo Vouga, in the Sever do Vouga Health Unit (USSV), where materials and equipment will also be transported.
Silva Escura users will also be invited to register with USSV, which has “no requirements for more users”, in the form of a survey.
The Ministry of Social Development informs the government that the residents of the municipality of Sever do Fuga are “concerned about the possible closure” of the health facilities of Silva Escora, Rocas de Voga and Besiguero de Foga. The first two are already without a family doctor, due to the previous fix.
Since last November, Silva Escura users, and others without a family doctor, have had to travel to USSV to set up an appointment as there are only eight places per day, “creating endless queues, with the elderly and the sick who There is no place for them to sit. ”
