The One UI 7.0 beta for the Galaxy S24 series was expected to release later this month, but new information from leakers Ice Universe and Chun Bai suggests that the beta version of Samsung’s UI has been delayed indefinitely.
The tipsters claim that the beta update was delayed last week and that there are “no plans to release it in the near future.”
The delay in the beta version of the new user interface is expected to be related to the slow rollout of One UI 6.1.1 on more devices besides the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. The interface launched for foldable phones features new artificial intelligence features, and Samsung is likely planning to expand these features to the Galaxy S lineup.
When will the final version of One UI 7 be released?
Samsung has scheduled its annual developer event, the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC), for October 3. During last year’s conference, the manufacturer unveiled One UI 6.1, which was released at the end of October. So, if there are no major software issues in the beta versions, One UI 7 is expected to be announced and released in October this year.
