The photo of the current President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, and former President Jimmy Carter makes a big statement on social media. All because of the unusual lineage between Biden and Carter’s husbands.
The picture, posted on Twitter by The Carter Center on Monday, shows the former president and his wife seated on separate couches. Next to the couple, Joe Biden is the current first lady Jill.
But netizens noticed something wrong with the image’s proportions. Comments quickly surfaced about the Biden husband looking much older than the Carter family and about the possibility that the photo was the result of a wide-angle lens.
Some even criticized the photo, saying the “weird angle” spoiled the moment.
One netizen said, “She looks so small and fragile, but she’s still pretty much alive.” Another messed up and said he had never expected Joe Biden to sound like he was speaking from his stomach.
“Carter looks like the elves baking cookies in the trees,” one netizen joked. So wasn’t I the only one who saw Biden with Carter’s dolls ?? Another shot.
