The initiative, promoted by the Professional Support Office (GAP), comes within the “HB Running+” running group, a group of HB employees who meet weekly to run.
“This initiative aims to promote health, enhance team spirit, encourage healthy habits, encourage personal improvement, and contribute to a healthier and more motivating work environment,” said Sylvia Oliveira, GAP Program Coordinator. He stressed: “We believe that enhancing the well-being of our employees is fundamental to their performance and the quality of services we provide to the community.”
Outdoor sports can be done in two different ways, in a relay race, where 31 teams of four compete, spread over a distance of 16 km, or a 2 km walk through the Tepes Monastery, with a short guided tour of the monument.
“We are very happy to join this initiative,” emphasized Domingos Souza, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ULS de Braga. “It is important that all employees feel supported and encouraged to take care of their health and well-being. We believe that these types of events effectively contribute to creating a more positive and productive work environment.”
Implementing activities that promote health and well-being is one of GAP’s areas of activity, and the Staff Race and Walk is an example of ULS de Braga’s commitment to the health of its employees.
