Nearly 150 figures from culture, science and academia are supporting BE in the legislative elections, including musicians Sergio Godinho and Jorge Palma, writer José Luis Peixoto and director Thiago Rodriguez, the party said on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, the Lusa agency gained access to the list of supporters of the nomination of the party led by Mariana Mortagua for the legislative elections scheduled for March 10.
In music, notable names include Sergio Godinho, Jorge Palma, Fausto Bordallo Dias, Fernando Tordo, Benjamin and Ana Dios.
Several names from the theater world have come out to publicly support the barriers, including directors Thiago Rodríguez and Antonio Capello and actresses Sara Barros Leitao, Sara Carinhas, Kucha Carvalheiro, Custodia Gallego or Sofía Aparicio.
From cinema, director Antonio Ferreira and directors João Salaviza, Manuel Poreza and Margarida Gil appear on this list.
The authors are also supported by José Luis Peixoto, Luisa Costa Gomez, Alexandra Lucas Coelho, and Regina Guimarães BE.
Comedian Diogo Varo, journalists Antonio Macedo and Diana Andringa, painter Nuno Saraiva and choreographer Olga Roriz are also part of this group of supporters.
Other names supporting BE are architect Alexandre Alves Costa or researcher Shahd Wadi.
