a The Duchess of Kent celebrated her 91st birthday on Tuesday 20 February.
Catherine Worsley, who is married to Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, a cousin of Queen Elizabeth II, has kept away from public appearances since stepping down from her royal duties in 1996.
In 2004, the Duchess founded Future Talent with Nicholas Robinson, which helps young musicians without financial resources build their careers.
And now, as Hello! magazine highlights, the society has joined forces with the UK's National Children's Choir to support a new group of musicians.
Speaking about the initiative, the Duchess issued a rare statement: “I am delighted to see Future Talent and the UK National Children's Choir come together on this important initiative. This partnership embraces an ethos of inclusivity and accessibility with a commitment to nurturing the musical talent of the future.”
