The municipality's statement confirms that “for several years, several structural problems have been identified at the level of the facilities that include the Mora Health Centre, with a clear need for in-depth intervention.” This document indicates that “the necessary steps to rehabilitate this response are underway, within the scope of the investment implemented within the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), worth one and a half million euros.”
“With the aim of improving the conditions of access to health care for the inhabitants of the municipality, as well as the working conditions of the health professionals practicing there, the Municipal Council of Mora and the Local Health Unit of the Baixo Alentejo (ULSBA) have made efforts to carry out the necessary works for the proper functioning of the Mora Health Center.
In this sense, on the 29th, the Municipality of Mora and ULSBA signed a cooperation protocol with the aim of adopting the necessary steps to rehabilitate the Mora Health Centre, within the scope of the investment carried out within the Recovery and Resilience (PRR) framework.
After the signing of this protocol, an application will be submitted to the PRR in the next few days, which includes an available allocation of 1.5 million euros for the renovation works of the health center in Mora,” the Maghreb municipality’s statement can be read.
