Vladimir Konotop is a professor at the Department of Physics and researcher at the Center for Theoretical and Computational Physics at the University of Sciences of Lisbon. This year it was distinguished for the second time, by ULisboa and Caixa Geral da Depósitos (CGD) with a scientific award, in the field of Physics and Materials. The first scientific prize was awarded by ULisboa and CGD to the scientist in 2017. This second prize was presented in the noble hall of the rectory of ULisboa, on 23 November.

Vladimir Konotop (VK) – It is an important and honorable recognition of the importance of my work in the development of science at the University of Lisboa.
