This Saturday (12/16), Diadema organized the last multi-vaccination day of 2023. The measure, which aims to expand vaccination coverage in the municipality, was carried out in four stations, distributed in the North, South, East and Midwest.
259 vaccinations were performed, including 192 doses of the dual vaccine – which enhances immunization against new strains of the Coronavirus, in addition to the original strain – and 67 doses of all other vaccines.
In addition to the bivalent dose, the first and second doses are indicated against COVID-19, DTP, dTpa, diphtheria and tetanus, yellow fever, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, quadrivalent HPV, meningococcal ACWY, and meningococcal associative C, pentavalent rotavirus, pneumococcus 10V. Available to residents, tetravirus (SCR and chicken pox), tetravirus (measles, mumps and rubella – SCR), chicken pox, VIP and VOPb.
Christian Lopez de Souza, technical advisor for primary care coordination at the Ministry of Health, conducted an assessment of vaccination procedures over the weekend. “The vaccination campaign on Saturdays is another strategy to expand vaccination coverage in the city and provide residents with the possibility of receiving the vaccine at different times. We stress the importance of vaccination for all age groups and recommend going to the UBS closest to your residence to update your vaccination card.
Vaccination rooms are open during the week in all Basic Health Units (UBS) in the city, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Addresses are in https://portal.diadema.sp.gov.br/vacinas/.
