FThe moment a house exploded was captured on video after a man inside opened fire on law enforcement officers who went to the home to execute a search warrant.
The explosion, which occurred at a home in Arlington at 8:20 p.m. [horas locais] His voice was heard from several kilometers away, according to the New York Post.
The officers at the scene suffered minor injuries as a result of the gunfire. No one needed hospital assistance.
Eyewitnesses reported that when the police arrived at the scene, gunshots began to be heard, and the officers then began heading towards one of the windows of the house. At that moment, the sound of an explosion was heard.
The Arlington Fire Department said the fire was under control by 11 p.m. Monday.
The authorities have not yet been able to enter the house, and it is not yet known what the suspect’s health status is or whether there are other people inside the house.
