CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana in WWE, recently joined AEW to join her husband Miro (Rusev in WWE).
He made his first appearance in AEW on September 3 at All Out, after leaving WWE in June 2021.
In a conversation in Podcast “In The Kliq” CJ Perry talked about the differences between the two companies:
Well, I think it’s just an alternative program. It would be like comparing an ABC medical show to a CBS medical show.
It’s a different channel, it’s a different genre and everything networks They have shows with slightly different styles, like CW, HBO, Nickelodeon, and Disney.
In my opinion, it’s more sports oriented, whereas WWE is more TV series oriented, where we resolve our feud in the ring.
Yes, there will be a title fight. It’s just that I saw more entertainment, and a focus on entertainment, than wrestling here.
We have the same professional fighters here, while over there they are stars and that is amazing.
If you’re willing to do all that and work hard, I think the sky’s the limit in AEW.
What is your analysis of this comparison made by C.J. Perry between competing companies?
“Proud coffee junkie. Gamer. Hardcore introvert. Social media trailblazer.”
