Microsoft’s developments in Windows 11 are constant and with each new build changes and modifications. This is a normal process and we are used to seeing it happen constantly. In the last released version, something new appears. Microsoft wants Windows 11 to be lighter and that’s why it removed some of its apps.
Microsoft is constantly experimenting with changes to Windows 11 to make it better. These items do not always reach the hands of users, depending on the outcome and how the company's developments succeed and adapt to users.
In the latest version of Windows 11, released on the Canary channel, there is an important change. From this release, Microsoft will install Maps, Movies, and TV apps on PCs with the new system in a fresh installation. However, these two apps will be available and updated through the Microsoft Store.
In addition to this change, the new versions have some additional weight changes. During initial installation setup (OOBE), when Windows 11 needs to connect to a network, there is the option to install WiFi drivers using the new “Install Drivers” button. This change is noticeable when the new Build 25977 ISO is installed.
Furthermore, File Explorer has a small change that will come in handy. You can now view and edit the PNG file's metadata. You can also set a star rating in properties, edit the description, or add keywords.
Finally, in an ever-changing area, Microsoft has redesigned the Settings for Delivery Optimization page at Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options > Delivery Optimization to align with the Windows 11 design principles.
With all these changes, it's clear that Microsoft wants to improve Windows 11 in several areas. In the case of applications in particular, we are sure that the software giant wants to get rid of what is unnecessary and which only takes up disk space. If you want to test this version, you should be aware that it can cause problems and instability.
