The communicator has been enrolled in the list of patients eligible for an innovative treatment using a humanized monoclonal antibody (mAb). This treatment aims to block the action of calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP), which is responsible for triggering migraines.
Ana Guedes Rodriguez shared the result after three months of treatment: she went from 12 to 14 migraine attacks per month to only one or two of lower intensity. The journalist stressed that each case is unique and requires individual assessment, but he highlighted the importance of sharing information and encouraged those facing similar problems to seek medical help, thanking science and the NHS for their support.
