The Health and Social Action Days, promoted by the Municipal Council of Alcácer do Sal, return in a second edition that will address several relevant topics in these areas, with the main aim of offering specialized technicians, the educational community and the population in general a space and a moment for reflection and, at the same time, for learning and training. .
Sessions are free and take place in the Alcácer do Sal town hall, and require advance registration. The first conference will be held today, October 17, at 3 p.m., and its topic is “Emotional Intelligence in Schools and Society,” and Alfredo Leite, mentor of the Mundo Brillant Project, will lecture.
The session is scheduled to take place on October 24 at 5:30 pm with the participation of Dalia Costa, university professor and researcher at the Interdisciplinary Center for Gender Studies, and will focus on “Equality: reconciling professional, family and personal life.” The days end on October 31 with the “Longevity Challenges” led by Felipa Souza Luz, President of the National Gerontological Society, which will begin at 3 p.m.
The Municipality of Alcácer do Sal indicates that the Health and Social Action Days “follow a fast conference methodology, where each guest speaker, of high academic and technical merit, has about an hour to address a topic, in a dynamic and interactive way, and half an hour to discuss with the audience present. The first of the conferences is in May of this year.”
