The climate and biodiversity crisis is already changing the face of the earth. Close monitoring of environmental trends and new standards will provide the data necessary to define policies based on solid data and to obtain results that protect the planet and, in this way, the health and livelihood of all.
It was with this “spirit” that the European Commission launched a program Knowledge Center for Earth Observation, Whose mission is to systematically monitor the needs of the Copernicus Program, its products, applications and services, so that they can contribute to best practices and innovation.
The platform also aims to ensure that developments in the Copernicus program and other UNHCR investments in Earth observation and research continue to respond to EU policies.
In addition to announcing the context and goals of the initiative, the New Knowledge Center page also brings together other content, from accessing the Copernicus catalog of products and services, to technical publications, news or agenda, with key events in the sector.
