On Wednesday (13), the Tocantins government announced the state’s new Minister of Health. The person who will take over this position is Carlos Villento Jr., who was previously Superintendent of Vocational Administration and Health Education, and the decision should be published in the State Gazette on Wednesday.
Carlos Felinto Junior was born in Brasilia (DF) and is 41 years old. He holds a degree in economics from the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT) and has been a professional civil servant in the state of Tocantins since 2005.
He served as Supervisor of Professional Management and Health Education at SES-TO, where he was also responsible for overseeing health care administration and policy.
According to Tocanitans Governor Wanderlei Barbosa, the choice of the new manager is the right choice “because he is a coach who knows the department and has good chemistry with the other teams.”
