The Foundation of the State of Minas Gerais Hospitals (FHEMIG) on Wednesday (23) published a Public Notice for the accreditation of the Inter-Municipal Health Federations (CIS) for the provision of specialized medical services and the management of the medical domain in the Barbacena Hospital Complex. Applications for the first cycle can be submitted between 24/8 and 30/8.
The initiative aims to ensure assistance of strategic importance to the state and regional, at the secondary and tertiary levels of complexity. CIS will be recruited according to Fhemig’s needs, on an occasional basis.
Documents must be submitted through the Electronic Information System (SEI!MG). More details about accreditation, including the general notice, appendices and guidelines, are available at http://www.accreditation.org fhemig.mg.gov.br/
Providing services includes planning, following up and completing medical measures according to the professional profile. Inter-municipal health federations will be accredited to provide specialized medical services and medical domain management in the following areas:
general clinic;
medical clinic;
General Surgery;
plastic surgery;
Vascular surgery.
Neurosurgery;
anesthesia.
Intensive treatment.
radiology;
medical clinic coordination;
General surgery coordination.
Plastic surgery coordination.
Coordination of vascular surgery.
Anesthesia coordination.
Intensive care coordination.

After the first cycle, the accreditation process will remain open for applications for the duration of the public notice. Applications received after 30/8 will be analyzed and approved, according to the procedures described in the announcement.
