Actor Jamie Foxx, who was hospitalized in April after a health issue, posted his first video message since the medical emergency.
“First of all, I want to thank everyone who prayed and sent me messages. I can’t even tell you where that took me and how it brought me back,” said the Oscar winner.
And Fox confirmed that he had gone through something that he did not think would happen one day, and therefore he did not appear during this period, even with millions of people wanting to know the news because he did not want fans to see him in that state.
“I want them to see me laugh, have fun at a party, make a movie, make a TV show. I didn’t want them to see me with tubes coming out of my body and trying to see if I’m going to live.”
The 55-year-old actor thanked his sister, Deidra Dixon, and daughter, Corinne Foxx, for their help during this time.
Many celebrities like Justin Timberlake and Dwayne Johnson commented on the actor’s post, expressing their support and solidarity.
