AI and ChatGPT seem to be here to stay, helping users on a daily basis. This OpenAI proposal is gaining new territories and new territories. The most obvious now seems to be for smartphones. Good news is promised for this week, with the arrival of the Android version.
ChatGPT is coming to Android
After its browser-only release, ChatGPT and all its smarts want to acquire new domains and allow it to be used in new scenarios. It wants to offer users and all those who want to explore this artificial intelligence new opportunities and new areas of activity.
With the dedicated iOS client now available on the App Store and being used by all iPhone owners, it's time to conquer new platforms. The next proposal to be put forward will be for Android where OpenAI is not yet there, but where it is already promised.
Everything OpenAI already brings to iOS
Although not directly mentioned, the new version is expected to bring all the features of ChatGPT to Android. These were already in the version for iOS and iPhone, allowing you to explore all that this artificial intelligence and its chatbot has to offer.
Despite being promised next week, OpenAI hasn't revealed a release date for this Android version. That's it Gift in the play storethough it still only allows users to pre-register, ensuring a notification when ChatGPT is available.
An advantage over what Google has
The presence of this Android app and the version for iOS provides a unique advantage to OpenAI proposal. Google, with Bard, doesn't have a dedicated app yet and Microsoft uses their version of ChatGPT, but with their apps not everyone wants to install.
After we saw a slowdown in installing the iOS version, this Android version can bring new life to this OpenAI offering. The user base in this case is larger thus a lot is to be expected of what ChatGPT can offer here.
