A few months ago, almost a year ago, Vodafone was ordered to pay a huge fine, and to have a way to return a large part of the money that it had improperly charged to its customers. We’re talking about the many €1 “fines” for imbalance, or the amount incorrectly charged for extra internet packages when your monthly mobile data expires.
However, it is increasingly clear that Vodafone does not pay anything, and in fact, in addition to the increases in the monthly fee, if you do not have enough credit, the “penalties” add to their value.
Vodafone will not pay you anything and will even charge you a bigger fine
So, if you think something is going to change, you can now take the horse out of the rain. It’s a bit like what we said here, when a new opinion cleared things up a bit in terms of what happened to the “Vodafone sanctions”.
Tariffs are still very expensive, mobile data is still scarce, and in fact Vodafone, in fact all mobile networks operating in Portugal, continues to offer unfavorable conditions to customers, when they forget to charge their smartphones, or end up with their monthly mobile data package .
In the case of Vodafone, the youth tariffs for new subscribers are much lower than expected, with different conditions in relation to old subscribers. In addition, if you forget to pay the Weekly, the fine has increased from €1 to €1.07, as you can see in the image above.
The cost per gigabyte remains prohibitive, and operator flexibility remains a very difficult point. However, things keep happening, with no major changes in sight.
