The Brusc Health Surveillance Board, through the Endemic Disease Control Programme, updated, on Monday (26), the numbers of dengue cases and the outbreak of the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which transmits dengue, chikungunya and Zika, among other diseases. The latest survey showed that the municipality had a total of 120 confirmed cases of dengue fever in 2023, with three cases in the past week. In addition, 15 more are under investigation. As for the outbreaks, they reached 1,024 in this update, which is a higher record than the data issued in the previous bulletin (1023).

One person is being treated in the hospital ward and no person has been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU).
