What’s new in the new Samsung Galaxy S23 update?
After it was launched in some Asian markets, here it is, Samsung is now releasing the big June 2023 update for the Galaxy S23 series of its best smartphones.
The firmware, codenamed S91xBXXU2AWF1, takes up about 2.2GB of memory space and is mainly focused on improving the user experience and camera features.
Some of the improvements deserve more focused attention from users, because they are important. Going forward, models will have a 2x optical zoom option in portrait mode, autofocus issues will be fixed, and night mode will now improve.
As far as the user experience is concerned, this update brings with it smoother One UI transition animations and some improvements in the haptic feedback provided by peripherals.
This same update also fixes issues with HDR recording in some lighting conditions, while using the Camera app, on the Galaxy S23 series.
But the good news doesn’t stop there. This update will also resolve blurring around the camera’s pivot point that was reported by some users.
To check if the update is already available, all users of the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra models should go to the Settings menu on the devices, select the “Software Update” option, and then choose “Download and Install.”
