The US-UK-Australia exchange violates the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty
China International Radio – Cooperation between the US, UK and Australia on nuclear submarines was hotly contested by parties attending the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) board conference in Vienna in June.
The representative of China delivered a keynote address on the issue, urging all parties to jointly promote the intergovernmental dialogue process.
Representatives from more than 20 countries, including Russia, Pakistan, Indonesia and Brazil, echoed the Chinese position and proposal and issued a general plea to uphold the International Nuclear Non-Proliferation Organization and international rules.
The IAEA has discussed the issue for the eighth time in a row in the form of an intergovernmental discussion under the auspices of China, and again, thwarting efforts by the three countries to pressure the IAEA Secretariat.
The real intention of the US, UK and Australia to forcefully promote nuclear submarine cooperation is merely a pretext to make the Australian region a frontier for the advancement of US geopolitical strategy and to follow the practice of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Conflicts in the Asia-Pacific region and fueling regional conflicts.
Proceed after the suggestions
Apart from the negative impact and great risk, the nuclear submarine cooperation of the three countries is competing fiercely to set a bad precedent in terms of jurisprudence, procedures and rules.
The US-UK-Australia exchange violates the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, the International Atomic Energy Agency Act and the South Pacific Nuclear Power Plant Treaty. On the surface the three countries talk about cooperation on nuclear submarines, but in essence they are engaged in nuclear proliferation.
As all three countries are signatories to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, promoting nuclear cooperation must be approved by the IAEA. In the face of unanimous condemnation and opposition from the international community, the three countries are trying to forcefully “justify” the proposed union.
The US, UK and Australian “Nuclear Conspiracy” is evil in nature, has nefarious intentions and great potential for harm. It is by no means a private matter for the three countries and must be managed jointly by the IAEA Member States. If someone wants to turn the Pacific Ocean into a stormy sea, the local people will never accept it.
