noLast May 6, Prince Archie, the eldest son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, turned four years old. The boy had the right to a party and, of course, gifts.
Now, one of the gifts was a bike with training wheels. Who revealed that he was a bike shop owner in California to People magazine.
The bike was also joined by a bouquet of flowers for Meghan and birthday balloons.
The gifts were taken to Montecito Palace for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Asked by property security what he was doing there, the owner replied at the time: “I’m just a British businessman from town who wants to give Archie a present.”
Undaunted by the offer, Harry and Meghan sent a written letter of thanks a month later.
“On behalf of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, please accept our sincerest thanks for the thoughtful gift you sent Archie on Archie’s fourth birthday,” reads the letter, which was written by Harrison Colcord, a representative for the couple.
It should be noted that Harry and Meghan are also the parents of little Lilibet, who is two years old.
