Chris Hemsworth has admitted he feels awkward when he thinks about Thor: Love and Thunder, a movie Marvel Studios is due in 2022.
Hemsworth is currently promoting the premiere of the movie Tyler Rake 2 on Netflix and is in conversation with Question and Answer He admitted that the latest Thor movie is laughable and embarrassing in equal measure.
“I laugh and feel awkward with him. I think we had a lot of fun. It just got so silly. It’s always hard to be in the middle of things and get a good perspective. I love the process, it’s always a journey. But I just don’t know how people will react.”
Hemsworth says he’s heard some criticism about the comedy being overdone and the poor quality of the special effects, but he doesn’t rule out the possibility of returning to the role of Thor.
Since his debut in Thor, a 2011 movie, Hemsworth has been in several Marvel Studios movies, 4 of them with his character’s name in the title, but he’ll only return if they have a good idea and something different in mind.
Thor: Love and Thunder has given a lot to talk about and divide opinions. If one part of the audience liked the comical and eccentric visual style, another part criticized the exaggerated jokes and goat screams.
