After being away for more than a month Recovering from a left shoulder injuryAfter signing for the Spanish Grand Prix in April, Miguel Oliveira is back in action at the Italian Motorcycle Grand Prix this weekend (between 9th and 11th). The Portuguese pilot stressed that his main goal was “competition”.
“I am very excited to go to Mugello [circuito]. The biggest question mark at the moment is how I will be able to physically hold up on a tough track like this one on top of a motorcycle. I’ve been feeling better for the past few days and I hope that’s enough for me to participate and compete. This is the main goal. I know I still need more experience with the bike and more racing, but at this point the priority is to come back strong and at 100 percent. I’m going to Mugello with that in mind and hopefully we’ll have a good weekend. I am excited to see the team again,” said the Portuguese rider, in a press release from the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team.
Also returning to Mugilu will be Raul Fernandez, teammate of Miguel Oliveira. The Spaniard has recovered from an injury to his right arm.
Remember that the Italian Grand Prix, the sixth round of the MotoGP World Championship, will take place over the weekend, between the ninth and eleventh of this month.
